Three sorority sisters head to a lakeside cabin where unsettling ripples, a gruesome death, and a lock-side fin reveal a bull shark prowling an Ontario waterway. As a principled Police constable battles a grandstanding mayor to close the lake, Chloe discovers a notebook tying the predator to covert experiments. When friends are stranded on a nearby island and public attacks escalate, the group aligns with a weary medical examiner and Chloe’s professor father to devise a high-risk countermeasure. A sardonic young WaveRunner rider and small-town allies join the effort, culminating in a desperate chase that tests leadership, loyalty, and nerve, while hinting the threat may not be contained.
